In the virtual world ‘Digital Therapy’ project is a unique and the most sought-after programme especially designed for youth. The innovative workshops, merging therapy and help tackle the impacts of mental health on vulnerable youngsters and communities. Considering their career potentials, teaching them digital skills and engaging them in generative activities, the project has targeted mainly teenagers aged between 13 to 18 years from multiple ethnicities and will take place in May 2021 at Ngaruawahia High School.

Two of our game developers will teach youngsters to design virtual apps in a face to face session and once they are completed it will be available on the healing innovation hub official website for public to use as well. Kindly funded by ‘Trust Waikato’ the pilot project in a span of three months (May, July and October 2021) for eight hours weekly and the sessions will help these students to get a glimpse of the power of technology and innovation.
